Ingredients

- 1 tbsp Canola oil
- ½ lb tortilla chips
- 1 can El Pato hot tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1 can black beans
- 1 large avocado
- 4-5 green onions
- Fresh cilantro
- 1 small lime
Instructions:
- Wash and dry all produce.
- Open, drain, and rinse the black beans.
- Cube the avocado, thinly slice the green onions and cilantro. Cut your lime into wedges. Set all of these aside for topping later.
- Over your fire, heat a drizzle of oil in a cast-iron skillet or Dutch Oven.
- Add a layer of chips and spread them evenly over the bottom. Top with ¼ of the El Pato, ¼ of the black beans, ¼ of the cheese, and a handful of the avocado, green onions, and cilantro. Repeat this layering to create a second layer of ingredients.
- For the final layer, add the chips and spread them evenly, then top with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted through.
- Serve with lime wedges and sour cream.
