Pick Out a Fan for the Bedroom
Keep yourself cool throughout the summertime by getting a fan for the bedroom. Most bedrooms have a dresser, where you’ll be able to set up the fan. If your RV has a AC unit, the additional fan can help you to stay cool even on the hottest days.
Upgrade Your Mattress
Most RVers make their first improvement to the bedroom by upgrading the existing mattress. For us, this wasn’t necessary because we found our RV’s mattress more comfortable than the our traditional mattress. However, we did need a mattress topper to protect it from general wear-and-tear.
A Space Heater is Ideal for Colder Weather
Although your RV’s furnace should be able to keep the entire RV warm during most chilly evenings, you probably won’t want to run it constantly. Get a small oil radiator space heater for the bedroom to help ward off the cold.
Use Command Hooks for Just About Everything
We added storage to our closet by using Command hooks for additional hanging space. There are hooks that are perfectly sized for jewelry, scarves, hats, and more. They’re also ideal for hanging pictures and art on the walls.
Stay Organized with Bins
If you struggle to stay organized, use bins in your closet to help keep shirts, socks, and more as tidy as possible. We also use bins under the bed to help keep things in order even.
Try Hanging Shoe Organizers
One of the best ways to keep knick knacks organized is using a shoe organizer. There are different kinds, some hang over the door, others can be set up around the base of your bed to add storage where you might not have it otherwise.
